Are you fragrance free?
I do fragrance free on my face, and I know many women also because of allergies or simply personal preference. Other than that I love perfumes, scented oils, soaps, creams and candles. I will not dress up without a spritz of my favorite perfume. There is always a linger of scent on my clothes even when I take them off. I am not the type that sticks to one particular brand but have several bottles open at a time, using each according to my moods and the occasion. Proverbs 27:9(a) says ointment and perfume delight the heart and I couldn’t agree more.
Sometimes the smell of a perfume ( not the perfume itself) reminds me of a particular person or a particular memory which is not all always pleasant. Other times the memories bring a smile to my face. As Designer women, the most expensive fragrance we can wear is the knowledge of Christ. We cannot be fragrance free. When we leave a situation the wafts of His grace and love should flow. Christ must be seen and felt in every place we go. We shouldn’t leave behind the smell of smoke from smoldering anger, strife or contention. The fragrance of Christ should radiate through us bringing delight to the hearts of people who contact the Christ in us.
Now thanks be to God who always leads us to triumph in Christ and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place – 2 Cor 2 : 14
We cannot be fragrance free. People must see us and see Christ. The impressions we leave behind are that of His love, bringing delight and not despair in every place…
